These rules are specific to Gailey and Redesmere only
LINE
Minimum mainline line strength 15lb
Tapered main lines ok minimum 15lb
Braid line minimum strength 30lb ok with a minimum 18 inch length of rig tubing
No shock leaders on baited rods
Lead core/safe zone leaders Ok
Tapered leaders minimum 30lb-15lb shock leaders for Spodding (or 15lb minimum untapered line)
LEADS
3.5oz max weight size
BEADS
Beads used on any rig must easily pass over knots
RIGS
Running rigs using rig tubing are ok
No tethered rigs allowed on any PAAS waters
No jammed or glued rubber tapered sleeves
ADVICE
Seek advice if you don’t know what tethered rigs are. If using lead clips make sure you know how they work
