Balloting on Gailey Reservoir from 13th August and Parking Restrictions
From 13th August pegs on Gailey Reservoir will be balloted for around 6 weeks with restrictions on both the number of anglers each day and the number of cars whilst essential works are being completed including resurfacing the path all around and repointing the stonework in the area of the dam head.
Restrictions regarding car parking and peg access will apply to the ballot system as follows:
- All pegs along the A5 bank will initially be closed during early construction work
- There will be spaces available for 5 vehicles each side of the car park 10 in total (see map below)
- No trailers allowed
- No vehicles on access ramp
- No parking outside gate
- No bivies or any other equipment on the top of the banks anywhere
- No visitors
